Game Recap: white vs. red

Bonner: 18 for 31; and, 3 for 12 from behind the arc (1 of the made 3 was the game winner; 8 of the missed 9 were from at least two feet behind the arc). Plus, 3 blocks and 4 dunks.

Scalabrine: 6 for 22; and, 1 for 6 from behind the arc (3 of the missed 5 were from two or more feet behind the arc; 1 of the other 2 misses hit the front of the rim). He short-rimmed that three, 1 jumper and 5 layups/bunnies. Plus, 1 block and 1 dunk.

Recap:

It stays close for the first 4:40. Scalabrine dribbles around a lot, and takes the lead once or twice. With the game tied, however, Bonner hits a long jumper to make it 6-5; and, he never looks back.

There's a 14-0 run in which Scalabrine only touches the ball, maybe, twice. Then, losing 5-19, Scalabrine hits a three in Bonner's face. Now, 7-19, BS follows his momentum-breaking three by missing a jumper and putting a hand in the chest of Bonner during the game-winning shot. BS didn't even put in enough effort to get the dot.

Plus (I missed this in the lowlights): Bonner took two ill-advised jumpers from the corner. He missed both. The second one bounced out of bounds. Both players were standing right next to the ball when they clapped, then jogged back to the top of the key. Bonner, at about the elbow, remembered that he had to get the ball and turned around to go back for it. Truly ridiculous [it's a video game].
